Ain’t nothing left for the birds to sing,
Ain’t nothing felt from the Autumn wind,
Winter takes over, like a hungry Hound,
A permanent resting place it has found,
Grey and black is all remains,
Locked away, all in chains,
No more colour, no more vibrance,
No more shouting, just plain silence,
Even the branches now creak,
Weakened by tragedies as we speak,
For he has had enough, of all that has happened,
All that has been said, his heart being battered,
No more a smile is now genuine,
For a smile he wears now, only to grin,
For it can hide a million things,
And not necessarily to give…
Nor to share…
Nothing exists…
